Susan lived an idyllic childhood in Margaret River ( West Australia ), making most of the forests and beaches. Those early experiences have had a major influence on her respect and love of the environment and its wildlife. The family moved to Perth and as a teenager Susan completed an Arts Diploma at James Street Arts College.
Now living in Ravenswood, a purpose built studio allows more feedom with space to expand her ceramic sculptures, painting and glass work. Susan's passion and love is reflected in the work produced and has proved popular in the galleries she exhibits.
Susan has achieved a great deal of satisfaction as a wildlife carer and using her creative skills has where possible, donated drawings and sculptures, to raise funds for wildlife preservation. The love of the Australian Bush and Jarrah forest animals are regularly represented in Susan's work both in a humorous and serious manner.
